The Junior Lawyer's Field Guide
110+ guides · 30+ templates
who it's for
The library is designed with 2 groups in mind.
Junior lawyers and law students — step-by-step guides and real resources (scripts, templates, habit-building frameworks) tried and tested by experienced lawyers. Not theory. Practical stuff you can use straight away.
Partners, supervisors and L&D professionals — give your team and mentees the right tools to learn how to approach legal practice, build good habits early, and accelerate their careers.
Worried it won't apply to your practice area? It will. Around 90% of the library is about how to practise law — not what kind of law you practise.

about me

Jason Feng
I'm Jason Feng. As a first-generation lawyer, I felt that law school didn't really prepare me for legal practice. So for the past 6 years, I've been writing actionable how-to guides to help junior lawyers develop their careers and build their confidence.
I've worked at leading law firms and companies in Australia and Dubai, and have presented training sessions to legal teams of all sizes. I still work as a lawyer — and I still write new guides as I learn and experience new things in my career.
The library is everything I've written, in one place, updated as I go. It's the resource I wished I'd had when I started out. You can also check out the free how-to guides on my website.
